TYPICAL SPRAYING RATE OF 6PM-II GUN

The Metal Coat 6PM-II Powder Flame Spray System is engineered for high-performance, large-scale applications where consistent coating quality is essential. It’s well-suited for applying coatings of hard-facing alloys, ceramics, metals, and carbide-based powders. This model excels in surface restoration tasks, including repair of machine parts, dimensional rebuilding, corrosion protection, and wear- or abradable-resistant coatings.

The 6PM-II offers high spray output with minimal gas consumption, ensuring better material deposition efficiency. Designed for ease of use, it is simple to operate, maintain, and learn, making it ideal for general-purpose spraying. It supports a wide variety of materials, including self-fluxing and self-bonding alloys, ceramics, as well as traditional thermal spray powders like steel, stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum- and nickel-based alloys.

The system requires an external powder feeder to deliver a steady, precise flow of powder to the spray gun. More details on compatible feeders can be found in the powder feeder section.

STANDARD ACCESSORIES

Air Jet Assembly
Used when enhanced workpiece cooling or denser, harder coatings are needed. This accessory attaches to the front of the 6PM-II gun and directs high-speed air into the spray stream. The included cooling tubes are adjustable and can target specific points on the spray path or directly onto the surface being coated.

Extension Nozzle
Available in 1-foot and 2-foot lengths, these extensions come with 90° or 45° angled gas heads. They are ideal for internal diameter spraying or coating hard-to-reach areas. Installation is straightforward and tool-free—simply remove the Air Cap Body and Siphon Plug, and replace them with the extension nozzle. The entire process takes just 1–2 minutes.
