Air Blast Cabinets

Air blast cabinets utilize compressed air to pneumatically accelerate blasting media projected onto components. Our models work on direct pressure blasting, induction blasting, and slurry pumping. Blasting is performed with guns introducing abrasives via compressed air inside closed chambers for safety and dust control. Constructed from heavy-gauge mild steel, these cabinets withstand abrasive bombardment. Abrasives are collected and recycled within the chamber. Dust bags separate dust and debris from abrasives. Both manual and motorized dust bag shakers are used.

Machines are used for:

Suction Blast Cabinets

This system operates on the Induction-Suction principle of abrasive blasting. It is ideal for tasks such as blast cleaning, deburring, descaling, removing light deposits from soft metal parts, and deflashing plastic items and molded components. Additionally, it is used to achieve a matte surface finish. It offers a simple and highly effective method for removing rust and old paint. The machine is activated by pressing a foot pedal, which initiates air extraction. This air mixes with abrasive material and is then discharged through the gun’s nozzle under pressure.

Pressure Blast Cabinets

This system uses the direct pressure blasting principle. It delivers high-velocity abrasive streams, enabling faster completion of tasks. A pressure vessel, mounted directly beneath the cabinet’s hopper, features an automatic abrasive refilling system. It is especially suited for removing tough, heavy-scale build-up, and is effective for deburring and deflashing when medium to coarse abrasive grains are used.

Features

  • Easy vision: We provide large window glass (protected by a wire screen assembly). Also, high illumination is used for clear visibility while blasting.
  • Gasketted Doors are provided with locking systems and are easy in operation. Slider doors are also available.
  • The stand on which operator stands, is designed for relaxing working. Also, foot switch is provided for operator for easy control
  • Generally, all cabinets are rubber lined.
  • The operator can use both his hands via sealed hand holes for holding a gun, thus ensuring maximum safety.
  • Simple in operation and ready to operate when connected to electrical and air supply. No erection required.
  • Easy fitment of spares, whenever required.
  • The environment is dust free because of dust collection assembly. Noise level is maintained at below 80 DBA. Also, proper ventilation is provided for easy visibility.

Abbrasive Media

Abrasive media for shot blasting machines serve multiple purposes such as abrasive cleaning, shot peening, deburring, polishing, and various surface finishing tasks. They come in diverse types, hardness levels, and a broad selection of grit and mesh sizes to suit different applications.
